The William Michael Brown Jr. Educational Foundation for Youth is dedicated to continuing the legacy of William Michael Brown Jr., a passionate and talented musician and entertainer from Columbus, Ohio, who sadly passed away in 2017.
William had a deep love for music from an early age. He taught himself the art of blending and mixing tracks, creating his own unique beats. His passion and skill led him to establish Brownzville Entertainment Studio, where he not only honed his craft but also received widespread recognition for his musical talents. Brownszville Entertainment gave William the opportunity to perform at local parties, clubs, and radio stations, allowing him to make a name for himself in the entertainment industry.
Growing up in a single-parent home in Columbia, South Carolina, William understood the challenges that many young people face in pursuing their dreams. Despite these obstacles he strongly believed that everyone has the potential to achieve their aspirations. He embodied this belief by enrolling at DeVry University in Columbus, Ohio, where he pursued a degree in Business Administration.
William’s mother, faced with financial challenges, struggled to support his college education. However, William’s determination and belief in himself shone through. He persevered and encouraged other students to do the same – to believe in their abilities and never give up on their dreams, no matter the obstacles or how long the journey may be.
We provide financial support to students who show promise. Our tuition assistance program helps cover tuition and educational expenses, making dreams of higher education a reality.
Our mentorship programs connect students with industry professionals. These relationships foster growth, guidance, and networking opportunities that can shape futures.
