The William Michael Brown Jr Education Foundation
for Youth was founded in 2023 by Lorraine Brown,
a dedicated advocate for youth empowerment.
The foundation was established in memory of
William Michael Brown Jr, a beloved member
of our community known for his passion for
mentoring and supporting young people. Inspired
by William’s legacy, the foundation aims to
continue his mission of empowering youth by
providing them with the necessary resources,
mentorship, and support to succeed academically
and professionally.
The foundation is governed by a Board of Directors,
comprised of individuals who are committed to
advancing the foundation’s mission and objectives.
The Board of Directors provides strategic guidance,
oversight, and leadership to ensure the effective
operation of the organization. Key staff members
include Executive Director/CEO, who oversees the
day-to-day operations of the foundation, Program
Director, responsible for developing and
implementing educational programs and initiatives,
and Development Director, in charge of fund raising
and donor relations.
